In this study, ozonized sunflower oil effectively healed skin wounds in a dog and a cat over 30 and 50 days, respectively, with no side effects, showing faster hair regrowth and improved local metabolism.

April 2025 in “Journal of Biomedicine and Translational Research” This case report describes the successful treatment of a post-excisional biopsy dehisced wound in an 11-year-old girl using 1% framycetin sulphate tulle combined with ozonated oil as adjuvant therapy, leading to wound healing with some complications like secondary cicatricial alopecia.
March 2025 in “Formosa Journal of Sustainable Research” In this study involving male mice, Mangkokan leaf extract (Polyscias scutellaria) at a 7% concentration was found to heal incision wounds faster compared to 3% and 5% concentrations.
