TLDR Ozonated oil helped heal a wound but caused hair loss.
This case report describes the successful management of a post-excisional biopsy dehisced wound in an 11-year-old female using 1% framycetin sulphate tulle and ozonated oil as adjuvant therapy. The treatment involved weekly applications and resulted in significant wound healing, with the ulcer reducing in size by day 21 and turning into a scar by day 28. However, the patient developed secondary cicatricial alopecia by day 86, a known complication in hair-bearing areas. The study highlights the potential of ozonated oil as an effective adjuvant in promoting wound healing.
