TLDR Ozonized sunflower oil effectively heals small animal wounds and promotes hair growth.
The study on ozonized sunflower oil for treating wounds in small animals demonstrated its effectiveness through two cases: a dog and a cat with cutaneous myiasis. The treatment led to complete wound healing in 30 days for the dog and 50 days for the cat, with no side effects. It also promoted accelerated hair growth, likely due to enhanced circulation and metabolism. The oil served as a bactericidal, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory agent, reducing infection and improving healing. It is highlighted as a cost-effective, easy-to-apply adjunct to conventional veterinary treatments.
