research Study on the Proliferation Induction Effect of AIMP1 on CD34+ Hair Follicle Stem Cells
The study investigated the role of Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase interacting multifunctional protein 1 (AIMP1) in hair follicle stem cell proliferation and its potential as a treatment for alopecia. AIMP1, when dissociated from the multi-tRNA synthetase complex, was found to be secreted by dermal papilla cells in a sonic hedgehog (Shh) signal-dependent manner. This secretion increased the proliferation of CD34+ hair follicle stem cells by promoting the wnt signaling pathway through inhibition of sFRP1, a known wnt antagonist. The research demonstrated that the N-terminal fragment of AIMP1 could be developed into a therapeutic peptide for hair loss. When applied topically to depilated mice, this peptide significantly accelerated hair growth, especially when formulated with carbomer. The findings highlighted a novel mechanism of AIMP1 action and its potential application in alopecia treatment.
research Aminoacyl tRNA Synthetase Complex Interacting Multifunctional Protein 1 Induces Proliferation of CD34+ Hair Follicle Stem Cells
This study found that the N-terminal fragment of AIMP1 enhances hair growth and proliferation of hair follicle stem cells in mice, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic peptide for hair loss treatment.
research Sustainable and Green Zinc Oxide Nanoparticle Synthesis from Ginger as a Wound Healing Accelerator
In this study, zinc oxide nanoparticles combined with Carbomer940 hydrogel significantly accelerated wound healing and hair growth in Balb/c mice, showing a 56.9% increase in wound closure rate compared to MEBO ointment and control groups, without causing damage or infection.
research Development of the Emulsion for the Androgenic Alopecia Treatment
In this study, the researchers developed an optimal emulgel formulation for treating androgenic alopecia, determining that a base with 0.3% Carbomer Ultraz 10, 0.1% potassium sorbate, and 0.2% triethanolamine offered the best properties for drug release, application compliance, safety, and stability.
research Hair Growth Promoting Effect of Essence Manufactured with Products Fermented by Lactobacillus Rhamnosus and Backryeoncho (Opuntia Ficus-Indica Var. Sarboten) Fruits in Mice
This study found that essence containing fermented Opuntia ficus-indica var. sarboten fruits and Lactobacillus rhamnosus promoted more significant hair growth in mice than minoxidil.
