Depressive symptoms, also known as symptoms of depression, refer to a range of emotional, cognitive, and physical signs that indicate the presence of depression. These can include persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, loss of interest in activities once enjoyed, changes in appetite or weight, difficulty sleeping or oversleeping, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and thoughts of death or suicide.
