research Re-Investigating the Basement Membrane Zone of Psoriatic Epidermal Lesions: Is Laminin-511 a New Player in Psoriasis Pathogenesis?
Laminin-511 may contribute to psoriasis by affecting skin cell growth and survival.
research The Appearance of Four Basement Membrane Zone Antigens in Developing Human Fetal Skin
research Immunofluorescence Analysis of the Basement Membrane Zone Components in Human Anagen Hair Follicles
The study used immunofluorescence to analyze the expression of basement membrane zone (BMZ) components in human anagen hair follicles, focusing on plectin, BP230, BP180, α6β4 integrin, laminin 5, and type VII collagen. It found that the upper portion of the hair follicle showed similar BMZ component expression to the interfollicular epidermis, while the lower portion exhibited decreased staining intensity, particularly outside the hair bulb where BP230 was absent. This absence and the diminished expression of BMZ components were linked to the incomplete ultrastructure of hemidesmosomes in these regions. The study suggested that the complete hemidesmosome structure stabilizes the upper portion of the hair follicle, while the incomplete structure in transient regions may facilitate movement during hair growth cycles.

community Compressed part of research of theory of androgenic/anabolitic balance. AGA h-responders analytic. Theory of physio-metabolitic method of anti AGA treatment
The treatment for androgenetic alopecia involves using finasteride and minoxidil with intense exercise and cold exposure to boost metabolism and reduce androgenic effects, potentially leading to hair regrowth. This approach may activate biological pathways for improved hair and overall health.
community Physio-metabolic method of treating androgenic alopecia. Cold receptors. The relationship between DHT, cold receptors, minoxidil and antiandrogens.
A method for treating androgenic alopecia using minoxidil, antiandrogens, exercise, and cold exposure to promote hair growth. Environmental factors and lifestyle changes, like diet and exercise, can improve treatment effectiveness.
community Physio-metabolic method of treating androgenic alopecia. Cold receptors. The relationship between DHT, cold receptors, minoxidil and antiandrogens
Treating androgenic alopecia with minoxidil, finasteride, and antiandrogens, alongside exercise, cryotherapy, and natural substances to stimulate cold receptors for better hair growth. The method focuses on enhancing treatment effectiveness by considering environmental and behavioral factors and the role of cold receptors and muscle stress.
community Scalp over skull massage and low hanging fruits of the basement: a cure?
Scalp massages may improve hair growth, with noticeable results in a few months. The technique involves detaching the skin from the skull, similar to detumescence therapy, and may be combined with other treatments for better results.
community "but it will hurt my gains bro"
The conversation humorously discusses hair loss treatments like Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Dutasteride, and their effects on hair and muscle gains. Users debate effectiveness and side effects, mixing scientific approaches with jokes.
