The study observed the effects of Yifa compound on 40 female patients with pattern hair loss over six months, using Gushen Jianpi Shengfa oral liquid. The treatment involved administering 20 mL three times daily. Results showed a 55% excellence rate and an 85% total effectiveness rate. Initially, patients had significantly higher sera dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) levels compared to normal controls. Post-treatment, these levels were significantly reduced. The study concluded that Yifa compound had a significant therapeutic effect on female pattern hair loss and effectively decreased sera DHT and DHEA levels.
