TLDR Trichoscopy is a cost-effective and non-invasive tool for diagnosing alopecia areata.
The study involved 50 patients with Alopecia areata and demonstrated that trichoscopy is an effective tool for diagnosing the condition by identifying specific patterns such as white dots (90%), black dots (80%), and yellow dots (50%). Trichoscopy allowed for the evaluation of disease activity and severity without the need for invasive methods, making it a cost-effective diagnostic approach.
