Personalized Compounded Hair Loss Treatments: A Compatibility Assessment of the TrichoConcept Vehicle Line

The study evaluates the compatibility of the TrichoConcept™ line as vehicles for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used in alopecia treatment. The formulations tested include F1 (biotin, caffeine, niacinamide in TrichoCond™), F2 (finasteride, minoxidil, tretinoin in TrichoSol™), F3 (caffeine, melatonin, pyridoxine in TrichoCond™), F4 (fluocinolone, ketoconazole in TrichoWash™), F5 (minoxidil, tretinoin in TrichoCond™), and F6/F7 (prostaquinon in TrichoSol™ and TrichoFoam™). Stability tests showed that F1, F3, F6, and F7 remained stable for 180 days, F4 and F5 for 150 days, and F2 for 14 days. These findings support the TrichoConcept™ line as a reliable vehicle for personalized hair loss treatments, potentially improving therapeutic outcomes and patient adherence.
