TLDR A rare hair follicle tumor was found on a woman's vulva.
Trichoadenoma, a rare benign tumor of the hair follicle, was first described in 1958 and typically appears as a nodule on the face or buttocks, though it can occur in unusual locations like the neck or upper arm. It is less mature than a trichofolliculoma and more differentiated than a trichoepithelioma. Histologically, it features infundibulocystic structures with eosinophilic epidermal cells and laminated keratin, but lacks hair follicle formation. This report detailed a case of trichoadenoma on the vulva of a 25-year-old female, exhibiting typical histological characteristics.
