TLDR The hair lotion with methyl myristate in niosomes treats grey hair faster and better than the free form.
The study investigated the transfollicular delivery of methyl myristate using cationic niosomes incorporated into a hair lotion. The research aimed to enhance the penetration of the active ingredient through hair follicles to improve hair growth treatments. The results demonstrated that the cationic niosomes significantly increased the delivery of methyl myristate into the hair follicles compared to conventional formulations. This finding suggested that the use of cationic niosomes in hair lotions could be a promising strategy for enhancing the effectiveness of hair growth products.
