    The document reported two cases of hyper-pigmentation induced by the misuse of topical corticosteroids (TC). In the first case, a 20-year-old female experienced hyper-pigmentation and itching after using Betnovate cream for acne for 2 years. She was advised to stop using the cream and was treated with demelanizing agents, sunscreen, and emollients, resulting in significant improvement within 15 days. In the second case, a 33-year-old female had redness, increased facial hair growth, and burning sensation after using Betnovate cream for 2 years. She was also advised to discontinue the cream and was treated with retinoic acid cream, sunscreen, anti-allergic tablets, and emollients, leading to significant improvement within 15 days.
