TLDR Hair transplant works well, but needs more research for better results.
This document is a collection of articles and references discussing surgical interventions for androgenetic alopecia (AGA), the most common type of hair loss. The articles highlight the importance of having a good donor hair supply for successful hair restoration surgeries and discuss various surgical techniques, including strip harvesting and follicular unit extraction (FUE). FUE reduces visible scars, but strip harvesting results in higher graft survival. The authors note that while hair transplantation has become a successful strategy for treating hair loss, further research and innovation can improve outcomes.
