    The document discusses the response of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, to cutaneous (skin) injury in zebrafish. The study used a time-lapse movie to observe the behavior of neutrophils in a transgenic casper mutant zebrafish following a skin injury. The results showed a mass influx of neutrophils to the site of injury between 0.5 and 17.25 hours post-injury, indicating that neutrophils respond quickly to skin damage. This research was conducted by a team from the Division of Developmental Biology, Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health.
