    TLDR New method accurately measures finasteride in tablets and bulk.
    The paper presents a validated method for analyzing finasteride in bulk and tablet formulations using RP-HPLC-PDA. The method was found to be accurate, sensitive, and specific, with good recovery of the added standard to the drug product sample. The proposed method is highly sensitive, reproducible, reliable, rapid, and specific and can be employed in quality control to estimate the amount of finasteride in bulk and in dosage forms.
