TLDR Found accurate way to measure finasteride in tablets.
The paper presents a validated method for determining the amount of finasteride in tablets using high performance liquid chromatography. The method is accurate, precise, and sensitive, with a linear range of 2.0 to 30 µg mL-¹ and limits of detection and quantification of 0.2 and 0.6 µg mL´¹, respectively. The method is useful for monitoring the content uniformity of tablets and injectables, and purity of finasteride raw material.
