TLDR PRP injections don't significantly help with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction.
This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) in a prospective, double-blinded, randomized, placebo-controlled trial involving 52 participants with mild to moderate ED. Participants were divided into two groups, with one receiving PRP injections and the other receiving saline injections. Results showed no significant difference in the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) scores between the PRP and placebo groups at 1, 3, and 6 months post-treatment. The study concluded that PRP injections do not provide a significant benefit in managing mild to moderate ED.
