TLDR Ozonized olive oil reduces swelling but can cause inflammation and hair loss.
Ozonized olive oil was found to inhibit swelling in a mouse model of contact hypersensitivity, which is relevant to chronic skin diseases. However, it also stimulated inflammatory responses, including vasodilation, swelling, and epidermal hyperplasia. Repeated application led to hair loss and contact hypersensitivity at the application site, highlighting potential adverse effects with its use.
