TLDR Artificial skin can heal wounds without scars and regenerate hair, oil, and sweat glands.
The study introduces a regeneration-directing artificial skin (RDAS) system that uses multi-layered hydrogels to mimic natural skin matrices, effectively minimizing tissue fibrosis and enabling scarless wound repair. This system guides the regenerative process in wound fibroblasts without the need for exogenous cell transplantation, allowing for the successful in situ regeneration of multiple appendages, including hair follicles, sebaceous glands, and sweat glands. The RDAS offers a promising cell-free antiscarring therapeutic strategy for regenerative wound healing, with potential applications in clinical settings and burn rehabilitation.

The treatment for androgenetic alopecia involves using finasteride and minoxidil with intense exercise and cold exposure to boost metabolism and reduce androgenic effects, potentially leading to hair regrowth. This approach may activate biological pathways for improved hair and overall health.

PP405 is criticized for overhyped claims and cherry-picked data, with doubts about its effectiveness compared to minoxidil and finasteride. Many users express skepticism, emphasizing the need for more comprehensive trial results.

      community Verteporfin and Microneedling

Clinical studies by Dr. Barghouthi and Dr. Bloxham indicate that Verteporfin, when used with FUE and FUT hair transplantation methods, shows promise in hair follicle regeneration and minimal scarring due to its ability to inhibit Yes-associated protein (YAP). Microneedling at depths of 3-3.5mm, combined with Verteporfin, could potentially reactivate dormant follicles, although the optimal dosage and application method are still under investigation. Concerns remain about the DHT sensitivity of regenerated follicles, highlighting the need for further research to optimize trauma levels and Verteporfin concentrations to achieve effective and scar-free hair regeneration.
