    Tectona grandis, a large deciduous tree, possesses a wide range of pharmacological properties due to its rich phytochemical composition, including naphthoquinones, flavonoids, and terpenoids. Traditionally used in folk medicine, it demonstrates activities such as anti-ulcerogenic, cytotoxic, antihyperglycemic, antifungal, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antiasthmatic, anticonvulsant, analgesic, and diuretic effects. Importantly, it shows potential in stimulating hair growth and offers nutritional benefits. Recent advancements in synthesizing metal nanoparticles from its extracts have shown promise in antimicrobial and cytotoxic therapies.
