Importantly, it shows potential in preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. The plant also has antimicrobial activity against various bacteria and exhibits anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and antitubercular properties. This review highlights its role in treating and preventing acute and chronic diseases, backed by phytochemical and pharmacognostic studies.
