TLDR A young goat with skin issues improved with medication and supplements.
A two-month-old crossbred kid presented with alopecia and severe pruritus, showing ulcerative and moist pruritic lesions. Cytology revealed Malassezia spp. and cocci bacteria, while histopathology showed orthokeratotic hyperkeratosis and acanthosis. The kid responded well to oral ketoconazole, antihistamines, and vitamin and mineral supplements.
