This case series reports on 15 individuals with androgenetic alopecia (AGA) who received intradermal dutasteride mesotherapy, revealing that 4 cases (3 males and 1 female) developed nonscarring alopecia following a single session. The study highlights the need for stringent monitoring of mesotherapy cocktails, particularly concerning the concentration of active ingredients and preservatives like benzyl alcohol and polysiloxane, which may have cytotoxic effects. The findings emphasize the importance of awareness among physicians regarding potential adverse effects of treatments.
