TLDR Nonculture epidermal suspension is an effective, simple, and safe treatment for stable vitiligo.
The study evaluated the efficacy and safety of nonculture epidermal suspension in treating stable vitiligo in 51 patients from 2016 to 2022. Results showed a mean repigmentation of 68%, with 43.1% of patients achieving excellent repigmentation. Long-term follow-up of over 2 years in 32 patients indicated that 78% maintained stable repigmentation. Minor adverse events were reported in 13.7% of patients, with no serious complications. The study concludes that nonculture epidermal suspension is an effective, simple, and safe treatment for stable vitiligo, providing sustained long-term results.
