This study evaluated the efficacy of superoxidized electrolyzed solution (SES) in healing full-thickness burns in a mouse model, using 252 BALB/c mice. SES, particularly at low concentration (SES-low) and in combination with a gel (SES-low + G), significantly improved wound healing compared to common antiseptics like nitrofurazone and silver sulfadiazine. SES-low showed better wound closure, reduced inflammation, and more organized collagen deposition. By day 32, all treatments achieved wound closure, but SES-low was the most effective in promoting favorable and organized healing.
