TLDR Neural cell nanovesicles help hair growth by activating key signals.
The study demonstrated that neural progenitor cell-derived nanovesicles (ReN-NV) promoted hair follicle growth by enhancing dermal papilla cell proliferation and accelerating hair follicle cycling in a mouse model. The mechanism involved the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, with miR-100 playing a crucial role. This suggested that ReN-NV could be a viable alternative to mesenchymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles for hair growth therapy.
