The study investigates the morphological characteristics and kinship relationships of 27 candlenut genotypes in Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province. Using a survey method, the research identifies common traits such as woody stems, dark green leaves, and blackish-brown fruit. The closest kinship relationship is between the MTB1 and MTB2 genotypes, while the furthest is between the MSN3 and TLK2 genotypes. Candlenut plants are noted for their uses in promoting hair growth, healing skin wounds, and other medicinal and industrial applications.
