TLDR The hair tonic with the highest seaweed extract content showed the best hair growth results.
The study aimed to formulate and characterize a hair tonic using Hormophysa triquetra seaweed and Aleurites moluccana candlenut extract as hair growth agents. H. triquetra contains fucoxanthin, flavonoids, phenols, and vitamin C, which support hair growth and repair damaged hair cells. Candlenut oil, rich in oleic acid, acts as a hair growth stimulant and antioxidant. Using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications, the best results were observed in the F0 treatment, which had the highest seaweed extract content, showing good physical stability and promoting fast hair growth in test animals.
