TLDR Mesotherapy with dutasteride effectively treats hair loss with manageable side effects.
Mesotherapy with dutasteride was found to be effective for treating androgenetic alopecia in both males and females in a real clinical setting. The study included 541 patients, with 86 patients (15.9%) showing clinical improvement after one year, and 33 of these patients (38.4%) experiencing marked improvement. The most common side effect was pain, reported by 246 patients (45.5%), but no serious or sexual adverse events were observed. This treatment may be a viable option for patients looking to avoid oral medications.
