TLDR Dutasteride and minoxidil mesotherapy effectively treats hair loss with minimal side effects.
The study titled "Mesotherapy with dutasteride and minoxidil in treatment of androgenetic alopecia" reports on the efficacy and safety of mesotherapy with dutasteride 0.05% and minoxidil 2% in treating male androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and female-pattern hair loss (FHL). The study included 10 patients (5 male and 5 female) with AGA or FHL treated with mesotherapy with dutasteride and minoxidil at a dermatology clinic. The results showed that most patients were very satisfied with the treatment, and the improvement was greater in patients with finasteride or dutasteride oral as complementary treatment. Only mild pain and burning sensation were reported as side-effects. The study concludes that mesotherapy with dutasteride and minoxidil was an effective, tolerable, and minimally invasive treatment.
