TLDR Ayurvedic treatment significantly reduced hair loss and improved hair quality in a 30-year-old male.
A 30-year-old male with male pattern hair loss was treated using an Ayurvedic multimodal approach, including herbal formulations, dietary and lifestyle modifications, and avoidance of etiological factors. Over 90 days, the patient showed significant improvement, with hair loss reducing from 64.8% to 12.4% on the SALT scale, and noticeable regrowth and improved hair quality. The treatment included Amapachana vati, Manjishthadi kwatha, Rasayana churna, Anu taila Nasya, and topical applications of Amalaki, Yashtimadhu, and coconut oil. The patient experienced no adverse effects and showed high compliance, suggesting Ayurveda's potential in effectively managing male pattern hair loss.
