TLDR Effective hair loss treatment in men involves personalized care and combination therapies.
Male androgenetic alopecia, the most common cause of hair loss in men, required both psychological and technical management. Morphometric studies indicated that 55% of patients with microinflammation experienced hair regrowth with minoxidil treatment, compared to 77% without inflammation and fibrosis. Due to the scarcity of evidence-based guidelines, a European consensus group developed new treatment guidelines. Effective management involved recognizing multiple underlying causes and considering combination treatments tailored to individual needs.
