TLDR Ayurvedic treatment significantly improved hair loss in a 17-year-old male.
A 17-year-old male with Indralupta (Alopecia Areata) was treated using Ayurvedic methods, specifically Pracchanna Karma (Raktamokshana) followed by Maricha Lepa and internal medicine. This approach, based on the principles of Sushruta Acharya, addresses the vitiated pitta, Vata, Rakta, and Kapha believed to cause hair loss and block hair follicle orifices. The treatment resulted in significant improvement in symptoms, proving to be easy, economical, and highly effective within a short duration.
