    This study reviews the potential benefits of combining microneedling with essential oils for treating male androgenetic alopecia. The literature review, covering studies from 2020 to 2025, suggests that microneedling promotes hair growth by stimulating growth factors, activating follicular stem cells, and enhancing scalp vascularization. Essential oils like tea tree, lavender, rosemary, and peppermint have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and vasodilatory properties that support scalp health and hair cycle stimulation. The combination of microneedling and essential oils enhances skin absorption, potentially amplifying therapeutic effects. The approach is considered promising, safe, and cost-effective, with the potential to improve hair health and patient quality of life. However, controlled clinical studies are needed for scientific validation and standardized protocol development.
