    Androgenetic alopecia, a condition causing hair loss in both men and women, is influenced by genetic and environmental factors. Hair loss can lead to personal dissatisfaction due to its significant aesthetic role in social beauty. This integrative literature review aimed to identify if available treatments have been yielding satisfactory results for patients. The review process selected seven studies for analysis. The literature presents treatments using topical applications of natural plant-based products and specific techniques for treating androgenetic alopecia. The study concludes that the numerous treatment options for androgenetic alopecia have been providing satisfactory results for those seeking treatment, whether through topical product applications or professional treatment sessions.
