TLDR The luliconazole shampoo effectively reduces symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis and is well-tolerated.
This study evaluated the efficacy and tolerability of a luliconazole-containing shampoo for treating seborrheic dermatitis (SD) over 12 weeks. The study involved adult subjects with SD, focusing on changes in scalp scaling, erythema, and itching. Results showed significant reductions in scalp scaling by 69% at week 4 and 78.6% at week 12, erythema by 77.1% and 92.4%, and itching by 91.2% and 94.7%, respectively. Additionally, 37.8% of participants achieved complete dandruff clearance by week 4, increasing to 55.6% by week 12. No intolerance or recurrences were reported, indicating the shampoo's effectiveness and tolerability as both an initial and maintenance treatment for SD.

The post discusses a user's one-year experience using finasteride 1mg daily for hair loss, including initial irregular use, continued shedding of weak hair, acne in the thinning area treated with fusidic acid, and weekly use of Ketoconazole.
