Comparison of Hormonal Levels Between Infertile PCOS and Non-PCOS Females

TLDR Women with PCOS have different hormone levels compared to those without PCOS.

This study compared hormonal levels between 100 infertile females, divided into 42 with PCOS and 58 without. Results showed that women with PCOS had significantly higher BMI, LH levels, and LH/FSH ratios, but lower FSH levels compared to non-PCOS women. No significant correlations were found between BMI and hormone levels (LH, FSH, LH/FSH ratio, E2, prolactin, and testosterone) in PCOS women. These findings highlight distinct hormonal differences in PCOS-related infertility.
