The study evaluated hair tonic shampoo formulations containing 8%, 10%, and 12% Musa acuminata Colla corm extract, known for its hair growth-promoting compound, anthraquinone. The shampoos were tested for stability and characteristics, including organoleptic properties, homogeneity, pH, density, viscosity, foam height, and surface tension. Results showed that the shampoos were white to yellowish-white, creamy, and banana-scented, with a pH of 6.08–6.12, density of 1.027–1.054 g/ml, and viscosity of 16,000–120,000 cps. The formulations demonstrated good stability and characteristics, suggesting potential as effective natural haircare products.
