Formulation of Virgin Coconut Oil and Red Chili Oil in Cemceman Hair Growth Oil: Implications for Holistic Nursing Care and Patient Education in Hair and Scalp Health

The study investigates the formulation of cemceman oil, combining Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and red chili oil, to promote hair growth. The research utilized an experimental method, applying the oil with varying concentrations of chili oil (1%, 2%, and 4%) to the skin of white rats. Hair growth was measured over 21 days, with the 4% chili oil formulation showing the most significant increase in hair growth. The study concludes that the combination of VCO and 4% chili oil is effective in enhancing hair growth, suggesting potential for natural hair care products aimed at improving hair health.
