TLDR A patient's grey hair regained color during treatment with adalimumab.
A patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) experienced repigmentation of her hair from grey-white to dark brown-black following adalimumab therapy. Despite stable control of her RA and no recent changes in her medical regimen, the patient observed increased pigmentation in her hair, which continued even after switching to golimumab due to increased RA activity. This case was notable as it was the first reported instance of hair repigmentation associated with a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor, highlighting a rare side effect of drug-induced changes in hair color.
