Significant Hair Regeneration in Androgenetic Alopecia Observed with Unani Treatment

A case study published in the International Journal of Science and Research observed significant hair regeneration in three patients with androgenetic alopecia (AGA) aged 26-30 using Unani formulations and Hair Rejuvenation Therapy (HRT). The treatment involved local application of traditional Unani herbal oils and a novel therapeutic procedure based on classical Unani medicine principles. After seven HRT sessions, patients experienced notable improvements in hair thickness and color, with significant new hair growth compared to baseline. The study suggests that this combined regimen could be effective for AGA, but emphasizes the need for larger randomized trials to validate these preliminary findings.
