TLDR AT-Grow, a natural product, might help with a common type of hair loss by reducing DHT levels.
Eight years ago, research indicated that AT-Grow, a natural anti-androgen, could potentially be effective in treating androgenetic alopecia, a common form of hair loss. This conclusion was drawn from the fact that AT-Grow had been proven effective in treating benign prostatic disease, a condition that, like androgenetic alopecia, depends on the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). AT-Grow works by lowering levels of DHT in the body, similar to the drug Propecia, by blocking 5 alpareductase1)-5). However, at the time of the study, no specific research had been conducted on the relationship between AT-Grow and hair growth.
