TLDR A mix of garlic and candlenut oils boosts rabbit hair growth best at 200 ppm each.
The study investigated the effects of garlic (Alium sativum.l) and candlenut (Aleurites molucanna) extracts on rabbit hair growth. Three concentrations (1000 ppm, 500 ppm, and 100 ppm) of each oil were applied twice daily for 28 days. The optimal results for hair length were achieved with candlenut oil at 1000 ppm (0.6250 cm) and garlic oil at 500 ppm (0.8417 cm). For hair weight, garlic oil at 1000 ppm (0.3627 g) and candlenut oil at 1000 ppm (0.3518 g) were most effective. The combination of both oils in a 1:1 ratio at 200 ppm each showed the most significant synergistic effect on hair growth, with results being statistically significant (p≤0.05).
