TLDR A 32-year-old man with early graying hair shows a unique pattern, suggesting more research is needed on why hair grays early.
Premature graying of hair (PGH) is a condition where hair grays before age 20 in Caucasians and before age 30 in African Americans, linked to genetics, oxidative stress, nutritional deficiencies, and autoimmune diseases. Treatment options are limited to anti-inflammatory medications, vitamins, and hair colorants. This report discusses a 32-year-old male who began graying at 15, showing a unique fractal pattern, highlighting the need for further research into the causes and mechanisms of PGH.
