Three years ago, the procedure of Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) was discussed as a reliable method for hair restoration, with a graft survival rate greater than 95% when performed correctly. The process involves removing scalp tissue from the occipital area, dissecting the follicular units microscopically, and reimplanting them into areas of hair loss. Despite leaving an occipital scar, the impact is minimal with the use of trichophytic incisions.
