TLDR Combining hair transplantation with minoxidil is effective and easy for treating hair loss.
The study explored a method for treating alopecia or low eyebrow density by combining hair transplantation with minoxidil application. Scalp tissue was harvested and divided into follicular units, which were implanted into the recipient site using a No.16 hollow needle. Minoxidil was applied 7 days post-operation for 3 to 6 months. The study involved 25 patients with 34 cases of alopecia or low eyebrow density, and the results were satisfactory. The method was found to be easy, convenient, and suitable for various hospital settings, with minoxidil aiding in high hair survival rates and natural growth.
