TLDR Monopolar radiofrequency effectively reduces facial wrinkles with minimal side effects.
The study assessed the effectiveness of 4 MHz monopolar radiofrequency (MRF) treatment in reducing facial wrinkles among 62 patients aged 29 to 55. It found a significant improvement in facial skin conditions, with a 93.55% effective rate at 90 days post-treatment. The noninvasive procedure, which stimulates collagen regeneration and skin tightening, was well-tolerated with minimal adverse effects. The results indicate that 4 MHz MRF is a promising option for facial rejuvenation, offering high patient satisfaction and minimal recovery time. However, the absence of a control group limits the ability to independently quantify the treatment effect size, suggesting the need for further research.
