TLDR Radiofrequency micro needling is effective for rejuvenating skin and reducing wrinkles.
The document reviews the use of radiofrequency micro needling (RFM) for correcting age-related changes in facial skin. RFM stimulates collagen and elastin production, improving skin elasticity and reducing wrinkles. The procedure is minimally invasive with fewer side effects compared to other treatments. The review analyzed 50 articles, using 39 sources, and concluded that RFM is an effective method for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction. RFM impacts deep skin layers with minimal effects on the epidermis, especially when using insulated needles. It has shown effectiveness in treating acne scars, hyperhidrosis, and androgenetic alopecia when combined with minoxidil. RFM can be used as a standalone therapy or in combination with other rejuvenation technologies.
