TLDR Combining exosomes, salmon DNA, and minoxidil boosts hair growth more than minoxidil alone.
This study investigates the effects of a combination treatment using exosomes, salmon DNA, and minoxidil on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice. The research found that while minoxidil alone increased hair follicle density and elongation, the addition of exosomes and DNA polynucleotides further enhanced these effects. Histological analysis showed significant improvements in hair follicle morphology and distribution. Additionally, gene expression analysis revealed that the combined treatment led to upregulation of genes associated with hair follicle proliferation and differentiation, suggesting a potential mechanism for enhanced hair growth. This study highlights the promising potential of combining natural sources with minoxidil for treating hair loss.
