TLDR The HDDPiW-jSB solution may prevent hair loss caused by docetaxel in rats when applied regularly.

The study investigated the protective effect of HDDPiW-jSB solution on docetaxel-induced alopecia in rats. Docetaxel was administered to rats for three weeks, and the HDDPiW-jSB solution was applied once or twice a week for four weeks. The results showed that the solution improved the anagen hair follicle count and Bcl-2 values, especially when used twice a week, and decreased the level of Caspase 3. The study concluded that the topical HDDPiW-jSB solution could be effective and safe for the protection of docetaxel-induced alopecia in rat models.
